By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the terms below.
Booking Confirmation
All bookings are confirmed once a deposit or full payment has been received.
To ensure smooth arrangements, clients are kindly requested to provide accurate personal details including full names as per passport, travel dates, and arrival information.
This helps us prepare personalized and seamless travel services for you.
Payment Terms
A deposit is required to secure your safari or trekking reservation.
The remaining balance is payable within the agreed timeframe prior to the start of your journey.
Timely payment allows us to secure the finest lodges, camps, permits, park fees, and transport services in advance, ensuring a smooth and well-prepared safari experience.
If the remaining balance is delayed beyond the agreed date, we may need to adjust or release certain reservations. In such cases, your booking may be subject to cancellation, and any non-recoverable costs already committed on your behalf may affect the refund of the deposit.
We always aim to be flexible and supportive, especially if clients communicate in advance. Where possible, we are happy to assist with reasonable extensions or alternative travel dates, subject to availability.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that travel plans can change.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
Cancellation fees may apply depending on the timing of the cancellation and the services already confirmed, such as park permits, accommodation, and internal arrangements, which are often non-refundable once secured.
Whenever possible, we offer alternatives such as rescheduling or adjusting your travel dates to suit your new plans.
Date Changes and Flexibility
We recognize that flexibility is important when planning travel.
Where availability allows, we are pleased to assist with changes to travel dates or itineraries.
We kindly ask clients to notify us as early as possible so we can make the necessary adjustments and secure the best possible arrangements for your revised dates.
Travel Insurance
For your safety and peace of mind, we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.
Your insurance should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellation, delays, baggage loss, and emergency evacuation if required.
Health and Fitness
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit and medically able to participate in their chosen safari or trekking activities.
Any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or special needs should be communicated prior to travel so we can provide appropriate support.
For mountain experiences such as Mount Kilimanjaro, proper preparation is highly recommended to enhance safety and enjoyment.
Travel Documents
Clients must ensure they hold valid passports, visas, and any required health documents for entry into Tanzania.
It remains the traveler’s responsibility to comply with all immigration and health regulations before arrival.
Itinerary Adjustments
While we carefully plan every journey, adjustments may occasionally be necessary due to weather conditions, park regulations, safety considerations, or operational needs.
In such cases, we reserve the right to modify routes, accommodations, or schedules while ensuring the overall quality and spirit of your safari experience remains exceptional.
Liability
Tanzania Highland Safari and Trek carefully organizes and coordinates safari and trekking services in collaboration with trusted accommodation providers, transport operators, park authorities, and other professional partners.
We place the highest priority on safety, proper planning, and reliable service delivery throughout every journey. In rare cases where circumstances arise beyond our control—such as weather conditions, wildlife behavior, road conditions, or decisions by park authorities—we will always act in the best interest of our clients and do our utmost to provide safe and suitable alternatives.
We remain committed to supporting our guests throughout their journey; however, certain risks are inherent in travel and adventure activities. For this reason, we strongly encourage all travelers to have comprehensive travel insurance to ensure full protection and peace of mind during their trip.
Accommodation and Transport
Accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking.
In rare cases where original accommodation is unavailable, we will provide carefully selected alternatives of equal or similar standard.
All transport is arranged with experienced drivers and professional guides to ensure comfort, safety, and reliability throughout your journey.
Wildlife Disclaimer
All wildlife in Tanzania exists freely in natural habitats.
As such, specific animal sightings cannot be guaranteed, though our experienced guides always do their best to maximize your wildlife viewing experience.
Guests are kindly requested to follow all guide instructions and park regulations for safety and conservation purposes.
